Global Warming Bill
Be it enact by the student congress here assembled that
Article I:
The emissions of carbon dioxide from cars and factories must be reduced.
Article II:
a) The amount of carbon dioxide emissions from factories, automobiles, and household items will be cut in half by the said date
b) During this time the companies that produce these products will have to develop items that apply to the new law. If the said companies fail to meet the requirements they will be shut down.
c) There will be several announcements on radio, T.V. and in the media to educate the people on the problem of global warming. These announcements will supply the people with the knowledge to take action to reduce their own emissions of not only their cars, but also other household items that are causing global warming.
d) This said education program and also the rest of the actions will be funded by the people and companies that produce these products.
Article III:
The date that this shall come into full effect will be September 22, 2020. This will allow for the profits to build up, and also the manual labor to install these filtration systems to take place.
Article IV:
The whole process of this act will be overseen by the Environmental Protective Agency.
Article V:
Any laws in conflict with this act shall be declared null and void.
